Houseboat Alleppey with full board meals (A/c will on from 9 pm to 6 am only).

Itinerary

Day 1Arrive - Cochin Airport

Our representative will receive you at the Cochin Airport and will escort you to the hotel. Check in to the hotel and relax. Later after refreshment proceed for places like Fort Cochin, still keeping alive its ancient Jew tradition, the Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry palace, St. Francis Church, The Jew’s street and the Chinese fishing nets at Fort Cochin beach are the must see. Evening visit Marine for boating and later return to hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2Cochin – Munnar

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Munnar enroute Cheeyapara & Vallara Water Falls, the lush green Tea gardens. On arrival at Munnar check into the hotel. Spend the day at leisure activities in the hotel. Overnight stay is at the hotel.

Day 3Munnar

Breakfast from the hotel and visit the three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. Munnar was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Visit to Blossom Park, Flower Garden, Mattuppetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. Post lunch proceed to Rajamalai were the rarest species of mountain goat, “Nilgiri Thars”, can be spotted, Tata Tea Museum. Evening back to hotel at Munnar for overnight stay.

Day 4Munnar – Thekkady

After breakfast proceed to Periyar, a highly picturesque resort ideal for unwinding. On arrival check in the hotel at Thekkady. After some refreshments visit Spice Garden & Elephant safari at extra cost). Later simmer down and get refreshed enjoying a boat safari in the scenic Periyar Lake at extra cost, occasionally winning the glance of some rare varieties of birds and animals at Periyar National Park. Return to hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5Thekkady – Alleppey Houseboat

After a refreshing breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. At 12:30PM, houseboat will pick you at the jetty and start your backwater cruise in the narrow canals. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for foliage paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Food will be served on-board. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats.

Day 6Alleppey – Kovalam

Complimentary breakfast check out from the Houseboat and drive to Kovalam, on arrival check into the hotel. Day is free for leisure activities in the resort and later enjoy the beaches in Kovalam. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam

After a refreshing breakfast proceed to Sri. Padmanadbhaswami temple, renowned for its towering gopuras and temples arts and paintings. The main pavilion of the temple stands impressive with 400 marvelously granite carved pillars. Your guided sightseeing tour will cover Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum and Veli Tourist Village. Later in the evening travel back to Kovalam for an overnight stay.

Day 8 Kovalam – Trivandrum - Departure Transfer

Breakfast and check out from the hotel and dropped at Trivandrum airport for your flight back home, feeling contented about the wonderful you spend in the “God’s Own Country”.
