Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive - Cochin Airport

Our representative will receive you at the Cochin Airport and will escort you to the hotel. Check in to the hotel and relax. Later after refreshment proceed for places like Fort Cochin, still keeping alive its ancient Jew tradition, the Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry palace, St. Francis Church, The Jew’s street and the Chinese fishing nets at Fort Cochin beach are the must see. Evening visit Marine for boating and later return to hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2Cochin – Munnar

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Munnar and drive to Munnar enroute Cheeyapara & Vallara Water Falls, the lush green Tea gardens. On arrival at Munnar check into the hotel. Spend the day at leisure activities in the hotel. Overnight stay is at the hotel.

Day 3Munnar

Breakfast from the hotel and visit the three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. Munnar was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Visit to Blossom Park, Flower Garden, Mattuppetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. Post lunch proceed to Rajamalai were the rarest species of mountain goat, “Nilgiri Thars”, can be spotted, Tata Tea Museum. Evening back to hotel at Munnar for overnight stay.

Day 4Munnar – Houseboat (Alleppey or Kumarakom)

After a refreshing breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Houseboat. At 12:30PM, houseboat will pick you at the jetty and start your backwater cruise in Vembanadu Lake. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, you can see the beauty of nature like foliage paddy fields, rustic homes, ancient churches and swaying coconut palms. Afternoon traditional Kerala lunch will be served with your favourite veg/non veg dishes. While boating to the narrow canals you can watch local inhabitants engaged in making coir products. Food will be served on-board. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats.

Day 5Alleppey –Kochi- Departure Transfer

Breakfast and check out from the hotel and dropped at Kochi airport for your flight back home, feeling contented about the wonderful you spend in the “God’s Own Country”.
