Morning after breakfast explore South Gate of Angkor Thom known as Big Angkor, which was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire. Continue to Victory Gate, Terrace of the Leper King, Royal Palace, Baphuon Temple and Bayon Temple. Bayon sets itself apart with its 200 smiling faces, sure to make you feel welcomed. With winding tunnels, chambers, and climbs, Bayon offers many exciting moments to keep your camera busy. Afternoon visit Angkor Wat temple-the largest religious monument in the world. The plan of the pyramidal conception of the temple combined with spaces, alleys, ditches is an ancient masterpiece of architectural design and construction.
Morning depart Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and get transferred to the hotel. Despite being a bit rough on the edges, Phnom Penh retains its former charm as a leafy South East Asian capital with a nice riverside promenade and numerous beautiful Cambodian Buddhist wats, palaces, and other artefacts. Proceed with check in and relax for the day or evening free at leisure to explore the close by market at your own.
Morning wonderful breakfast and proceed to explore the city. Visit the impressive colorful Khmer-style royal palace complex. Nearby is Silver pagoda, where contain plenty of Buddha Statues decorated and made by gold, diamond, gemstone and silver. Later, you will explore the Independence Monument it’s an iconic landmark that’s set in the heart Phnom Penh City Center. In the afternoon, head straight to the TuolSleng Genocide Museum to delve into the sad past of Khmer people. Walk up to sacred hill Phnom Daun Penh – also the name of a pagoda and name of the capital nowadays. In the end, enjoy a boat trip on Mekong river for one hour optional tour.
After breakfast and check out form the hotel. The journey nears a close and you may reserve your day for last minute shopping. Later catch your flight way back home.
